Bake Me Happy Bakery

We’ve been a little MIA lately because the end of the school year had so much to do - finishing the softball season (and baseball for her brother), choir concerts, final projects, tests, fun days, Apex glow runs and so much more. We were EXHAUSTED! Once Summer hit, we had to take a little break and slow down. But we have plenty of things we want to share this Summer, including our upcoming vacations and gluten free adventures!

One of our local adventures this week included one of our favorite gluten free bakeries in Columbus - Bake Me Happy! I’ve posted about them before because they are an amazing offering for the celiacs in Central Ohio. Everything they make is completely gluten free and delicious. We were at Nationwide Children’s Hospital for our girlie’s first checkup with her doctor since being diagnosed with celiac last year and he asked if we were going to stop at Bake Me Happy on our way home (more news about this great appointment soon). It was close-by, so of course we were!

It’s always hard for our girlie to choose what she wants because everything looks amazing. She decided to go with a few she’s had before and a few new things:

  • King Dongs - these are the chocolate covered circle cakes. Inside they have chocolate cake and a white cream filling. We’ve had these before and she ate one as soon as we got home!

  • Chocolate chip bundt cake - she ate this for dessert that same night and loved it. The chocolate stripes plus the chocolate chips made this a chocolate delight.

  • Pride-decorated sugar cookies - It was Pride weekend in Columbus, and they had amazingly designed sugar cookies that were just as yummy as they looked.

  • Big chocolate chip cookie - this was something we’ve had before and is always a favorite.

As before, we highly recommend stopping here if you’re looking for gluten free baked goods in Columbus!
