Day 2 Gluten Free Vaca: Disney’s Aulani

On our 2nd day in Hawaii at Disney’s Aulani Resort was another amazing day of gluten free food! As soon as you tell the hostess and server about your allergy, they really know how to handle it well. We were impressed!

Makahiki
We went to dinner at Makahiki, Aulani’s family-friendly sit down restaurant with a 3-course menu. We’re going to start with the dessert first because that was our girlie’s favorite food of the day. It was a gluten free chocolate cake with a Mickey head piece of chocolate and Mickey head sprinkles. She said it was amazing! She also had a salad and gluten free pasta with butter. It was honestly so much food that none of us could finish. Overall, this meal made our girlie very happy.

Off the Hook
We went back to Off the Hook for breakfast because it was so delicious. Our girlie tried the Sweet Bread French Toast and loved this, too! It came with more yummy, perfectly cooked bacon and berries. It was so good that I ended up ordering this for the rest of the week!

We went to the sit down lunch at Off the Hook, too. Our girlie ordered the Peanut Butter & Jelly with french fries and pineapple. The sandwich was cut into cute Mickey heads and they made it on gluten free bread and the French fries are cooked in a separate fryer, so they were also gluten free. This lunch was also great!
