GF Easter Candy - See’s Candy

It’s our first Easter with celiac disease for our girlie and we really had no idea what Easter candy she could eat. A lot of the people I follow mentioned that most solid chocolate Easter bunnies that you could buy at Target were not gluten free. And a lot of other holiday candy is made in a facility with products that contain wheat. I was determined that our girlie would have a solid chocolate bunny in her Easter basket this year - it’s a tradition! After a lot of research, I found See’s Candies. They have an allergen page on their website that states: CANDIES PRODUCED IN SEES CANDIES FACILITES DO NOT CONTAIN GLUTEN. They then proceed to talk about and list the specialty candies that they sell and how they can’t confirm that they are gluten free, however, what I decided to order was not on this list. I was so excited to find a solid chocolate bunny and a few other fun pieces to get both kids! I ended up ordering the solid milk chocolate bunny, a package of sweet surprise chicks (milk chocolate eggs with a white chocolate chick inside), dark chocolate eggs and milk chocolate eggs. I can’t wait for them to try them on Easter morning! I’ll follow-up and let you know what our girlie thought, too!
