Graeter’s Ice Cream

We were shopping and wanted to treat our girlie, so we decided to try Graeter’s ice cream. Before getting in line, I looked to see if any of their ice creams were gluten free and they had quite a few. Our girlie loves mint chocolate chip ice cream so that’s what she wanted to try. When I ordered for her, I started by telling them that our girlie had celiac disease. She immediately told me what their process was, including going to get a new tub of ice cream, a new scoop and changing gloves. She also mentioned that it would take 2-3 extra minutes, which was fine with us since they were going to be so safe! It did take a few extra minutes and people passed us in line, but it was totally worthwhile because our girlie really liked it and was happy that she could eat ice cream while we were out. I was really impressed and would definitely recommend Graeter’s for being celiac safe.
